Onboarding is the guided path every new user takes at first access. Configuring it well reduces time-to-productivity.

Default flow

When a new user first accesses:
1

Interactive tour

Arya highlights main interface sections with tooltips.
2

Profile

Complete name, photo, base preferences.
3

First action

Guided to take a meaningful action (e.g. create a deal, add a contact).
4

Useful resources

Links to this docs, support, intro videos.

Customisation

As Admin you can:
Different for sales vs HR vs operations. Arya shows most relevant intro.
Personalised message from CEO / founder on first access.
Tasks auto-assigned to new user:
  • Complete profile
  • Upload photo
  • Connect Gmail
  • Create first task
  • Add a test contact
Contracts, NDAs, company policies to digitally sign before full access.
Videos, articles, FAQs specific to your company.

Buddy system

Auto-assign a buddy (experienced colleague) to each new hire for non-manager support:
1

Buddy pool

Indicate which users are available as buddies.
2

Matching

Automatic (round-robin, skill-based) or manual.
3

Automatic tasks

Week 1: welcome coffee Week 2: 30-min check-in Month 1: informal feedback Month 3: complete onboarding check

Pre-configured data

To speed up, you can pre-fill for each role:
  • Shared sales pipelines
  • Preset lists
  • Relevant dashboards
  • Active automations
  • Task templates
New user finds everything configured, just has to “do”.

Onboarding metrics

Dedicated dashboard:
  • Average onboarding completion time
  • % users completing within N days
  • Critical points (where they get stuck)
  • Feedback via 7/30/90 day surveys
Useful for improving the flow.

Trial / demo workspace

To evaluate Arya before buying, configure trial:
1

Demo workspace

With synthetic data (fictitious customers, deals, invoices) for consequence-free exploration.
2

Duration

14 days default, extendable.
3

Limits

Max 5 users, no real SDI invoicing.
4

Migration

End of trial, demo data removed; workspace goes production.

Remove inactive accounts

For efficient onboarding: auto-deactivate/remove accounts that don’t access in > 90 days:
  • Pre-deactivation notification
  • 30-day grace period
  • Admin can always manually reactivate
Reduces licence costs and improves security posture.
