Notification types

Tasks assigned, leaves approved/rejected, expenses.
Someone @mentioned you in a comment.
Deal assigned to you, stage change, closed.
Tasks due today, overdue invoice, certification expiring.
AryaChat messages, Slack/WhatsApp/Telegram if integration active.
Requests awaiting your OK (leaves, expenses, timesheets).
New company post, comments on your posts.
Workflow failures, threshold breaches, critical events.

Configuration

Open notification preferences

Employee tab → Profile → Notifications.

For each type, pick channel

  • Push: mobile notification
  • Email: email delivery
  • None: silence You can combine (e.g. email + push).

Set priority

For each type mark Critical (bypasses DND), High, Normal, Silent.

Do Not Disturb

Configure DND

Notification settings → Do Not Disturb.

Quiet hours

E.g. 20:00-08:00 weekdays, all weekend.

Exceptions

Types marked Critical still notify during DND.

Sounds and vibration

OS-level config (iOS Settings → Notifications → Arya; Android Settings → Apps → Arya).

Privacy

Notifications shown on lock screen may contain sensitive info (customer names, amounts). To hide: app settings → Privacy → Hide content on lock screen → shows only “New notification”.

Troubleshoot

Check:
  • iOS/Android permissions enabled for Arya
  • App not in extreme “Battery saver” mode
  • Internet connection active
  • DND not on
  • Notification channel enabled in Arya preferences
Some Android manufacturers (Xiaomi, Huawei, Samsung) have aggressive optimisation that blocks background. Add Arya to “Don’t optimise”.
Review preferences — maybe too many channels are push. Switch to “Email” for less critical.
