The Projects module (also called commesse in Italian) is the operational hub for structured engagements: a project has budget, deadline, progress phases (SAL), operational tasks, costs, linked quotes and invoices.

What you can do

Budget and margin

Budget, automatic actual, real-time margin, overrun alerts.

SAL phases

Stato Avanzamento Lavori (progress-based) with customer sign-off and phase invoicing.

Project tasks

Operational tasks with custom statuses, linked to SAL phases.

Typical lifecycle

From deal to project

A won deal → Convert to project inherits customer, value, accepted quote.

Plan phases

Define SAL phases with deadlines and invoiceable amounts.

Execute

Tasks, expenses, timesheets linked → automatic actual cost calculation.

Monitor margin

Budget − actual = margin. Alerts if margin drops below threshold.

SAL invoicing

On phase closure, auto-generate the invoice.

Close

Project complete → archive. Optionally: save as template.

When to use it

  • Work on projects with budget and deadlines (IT, construction, consulting, marketing)
  • Need to track costs and margin in real time

Roles and permissions

The project manager (project owner) configures phases and budget. The delivery team executes tasks. Sales and leadership see margins and invoicing. Configurable in Team and roles.
